Our Year 9 camp this year saw our students heading for the very heart of the city.
Year 9 spent a great few days on Cockatoo Island during our camp week.
They enjoyed marshmallows around a campfire, swimming at Greenwich Baths and plenty of fun with the ‘peg’ game. Students spent time exploring the island and enjoyed learning about the history of the convict settlements there.
They also took part in some Rite Journey sessions which involved getting up for an early morning sunrise over the Harbour Bridge, and thinking about what becoming a young adult looks like.
