We recently had the pleasure of celebrating the enormous accomplishments of our Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award participants at the annual Gold Celebration Dinner. Five of the seven students undertaking the Gold Level at ICS have now officially been approved by the Duke of Ed Award Office, and the other two are almost there.
The Gold Level of the Award involves completing at least 52 hours over 12 months of each of a Physical Recreation, a Skill, and Community Service, as well as two 4-day Adventurous Journeys, and a 5-day Residential Project.
It is a very impressive accomplishment for these young people to have completed over Years 11 and 12.
Congratulations to Logan Chen, Jemima Dombkins, Prashane Fernando, Ewan Haines and Toby Leo on completing the Gold level of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award!

A huge thank you also to Mrs Tracey Trautman for organising this celebration event whilst on parental leave! Your commitment to giving our students amazing life experiences using the Duke of Ed Framework is deeply appreciated.
