Secondary School

In Week 1 of Term 4, over 50 Year 11 and 12 Bible Lunch Time (BLT) leaders, Year 11 support leaders, and Year 12 secondary captains ventured up to Mount Keira Scout Camp for an overnight leadership retreat.

Over the two days, we engaged in workshops centered around God’s word, learning what it means to lead and serve in our school community. We were able to bond as a senior leadership team over fun ball games, a swim in the pool, and meaningful conversations as we shared meals together.

We particularly enjoyed the talks from Tim Canosa from Village Church in Bulli, who shared how we are to have both humility and confidence in Christ as leaders. Another highlight was the visit from our Principal Mr Lainson, who shared personal insights with us around the campfire.

We are so grateful for this opportunity to serve our school community in an enthusiastic leadership team, under the guidance of supportive teachers who continually point us to the word of God.

This retreat was a wonderful start to our leadership journey as we grew in our understanding of Christian leadership and discussed how we will seek to continue to positively shape the culture of our school!
