The sets have been dismantled, the costumes have been washed, the lights have been dimmed and the stage doors have closed on three amazing and exhausting days of tech rehearsals, dress and rehearsals and two performances.
The Little Mermaid was an incredible success and experience for our students. Both on stage and off stage, staff and students worked together to create performances that surpassed expectations and thrilled audiences. The many hours of rehearsals, planning, creation and organisation proved well worth it as cast, crew, technicians, dancers and brought all the elements together to create a magical world on stage for the story of the Little Mermaid to be told. Most encouraging was seeing the hard work, positive attitudes, kindness, encouragement and professionalism of our students as they worked together.
Seeing this theatrical community at work was such a joy! We hope our audiences enjoyed the show and were as equally blown away as we were!
