See what Illawarra Christian School students got up to celebrating Pi Day – March 14 (3.14)!
This week in Maths classes at ICS we celebrated Pi Day. Pi Day is celebrated on March 14th to honor the mathematical constant pi (π).
This day also happens to be the birthday of Albert Einstein, one of the most famous scientists in history.
Each Maths class participated in some fun activities using Pi.
Students competed with one another to see who could recite the most digits of Pi.
Some classes even got to use their skills to find the volume of chocolate in their chocolate bar!
