On Thursday, 27 November, several of our Duke of Edinburgh Alumni, accompanied by ICS Lead DOE Coordinator Mrs. Trautman, had the privilege of meeting Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, at Government House to celebrate their Gold Level achievement.
This special occasion marked the culmination of years of dedication, perseverance, and commitment to personal growth. The Gold Award recognizes students who have challenged themselves to achieve ambitious goals while making meaningful contributions to their communities.
Following the formal ceremony, the group explored the beautiful grounds of Government House and even enjoyed an impromptu photoshoot – imagining what it might feel like to attend as international visiting ambassadors.
