Get to Know Our New Term 4 Staff!

Get to know a bit more about Mrs Keris Hobbs, Mr Ray Levy and Mrs Brianna Reeves, the new staff members who have joined ICS this term!

Mrs Keris Hobbs

Secondary students might be familiar with Mrs Hobbs, who has been working as a casual teacher at ICS across the past few years. This term, she joins us in a part-time capacity, teaching Secondary English.

Keris is married to Andy, and they have five children, three of whom attend ICS, and two who attend another local primary school. Keris and her family attend Salt Church, where Andy also works.

Previously, Mrs Hobbs has also worked at independent schools in South West Sydney and the Sutherland Shire. She loves teaching HSC English, and is excited to return to having her own classes to get to know and teach.

Mr Ray Levy

Mr Levy joins ICS teaching English, History and Geography to Years 8-10, and in 2027 will be teaching Secondary English, History and Biblical Studies. He has worked previously at schools in Sydney and the UK, and most recently, has been working and pastoring in Brussels, Belgium.

Ray is Married to Katherine and they have three young children, and their family has recently arrived back in Australia after living abroad for 15 years. Ray and his family have recently joined the community at Wollongong Baptist Church as they settle back in to living in Australia.

Mr Levy is excited and passionate about teaching how Christ is for all of life, that he is Lord over all things, the great and the small, and that we can see his fingerprints more deeply revealed as we get to learn more about how the world is through learning. Mr Levy's prayer is that as a teacher, he will be able to point students to Him in all things and encourage them to be motivated and curious learners in light of that.

Mrs Brianna Reeves

Mrs Reeves joins ICS as a Secondary English teacher, having previously taught English and Philosophy at St Andrew's Cathedral School in Sydney.

Brianna, her husband, and their one-year-old daughter attend Salt Church in Wollongong, and love living in such a beautiful part of the world. You can often find the three of them going for a run by the beach!
