Illawarra Christian School is operated by Illawarra Christian Education. The Association is primarily made up of Christian men and women from our school community and of all the schools operated by Illawarra Christian Education.

The Association is a group of like-minded Christian people who have joined together to ensure that their goals of providing Christian education are met. When the Association meets together, it is the prime decision-making body of the school. As an incorporated body it is bound by relevant State and federal laws and by any internal rules it imposes upon itself. The Constitution, particularly the Educational Creed, provides the framework for the operation of the Association and its members.

Membership is available as single or joint (eg. shared between two members of a family). Each single membership entitles you to one vote. Couples sharing a joint membership hold one vote between them. If applying for joint membership, please make sure both parties sign the declaration below.
Have you attended a membership information session? If not, we will keep you informed of the dates of upcoming sessions. Your application cannot be progressed until you have attended an information session.

Conduct and reputation questions

Have you done anything likely to adversely affect your reputation and character, or that might negatively impact the reputation of the Association, if you were known to be a member?
So far as you are aware, is there any behaviour or experience in your past or present that may result in allegations being made against you of abuse in relation to children or young persons under 18 years?
Is there any information from your past or present that may result in allegations being made against you of sexual conduct or general misconduct (including allegations or convictions of criminal activity) which would be regarded by right thinking members of the Christian school community we serve as inconsistent with the standards to be observed by a Christian?
